About

Hold a whole solar system in your hands, running on real gravity. Fling planets around the Sun, keep them in orbit, and find your own way to the high score. Orbit Slinger is a tiny universe that runs on the same law of gravity as the real one. The star pulls on every world, and every world pulls on every other, moment by moment. Throw a world too softly and it falls into the star. Too hard and it sails off into the dark. Get it just right and it swings around and around, the same way the Moon stays up. REAL GRAVITY, REAL ORBITAL MECHANICS • Newton's gravity, simulated step by step. Nothing is scripted: what you throw is what happens. • Swing past a giant planet to steal its speed in a slingshot, or shed speed with a gravity brake. • Watch orbits stretch, wobble and somehow hold, or planets collide and scatter like cosmic billiards. • Curious? See your orbit in real units: AU, km/s, Earth days and orbital energy. THE SOLAR SYSTEM LIKE YOU'VE NEVER SEEN IT • See Earth up close: lit by the Sun and spinning, with drifting clouds, sunlight glinting off the oceans and city lights glowing across its night side. • Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and its rings, Uranus and Neptune. All eight planets, plus our Sun, alive with sunspots and a shimmering corona. • Earth, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter and the Moon are drawn from real spacecraft maps. • Tap any world and the camera flies in close. • Beyond our Sun, stranger stars wait: a red dwarf, a swollen red giant and a pulsar with sweeping beams. ENDLESS WAYS TO WIN • No single right answer. You choose where to throw, how hard, and in what order. • Score with precision: perfectly round orbits, lanes that never cross, fast finishes. • Or score with daring: hair's-breadth near misses, slingshots, wild orbits and spectacular knock-outs. • Every win earns a style badge, so you find out what kind of slinger you are. COMPETE WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY • Game Center leaderboards for every level, with friends and global ranks. • A new Daily Challenge every day: the same level for everyone in the world, with its own leaderboard and a streak to keep alive. • 33 achievements to earn. • Slow-motion replays of your best moments. Keep your favorites, save them as videos and show everyone how you did it. LEARN REAL SCIENCE WITHOUT TRYING • Tap a planet for fun facts: how many times it has gone around, how long its year lasts, its closest shave. • Go deeper with real stats from NASA fact sheets: mass, gravity, length of day, temperature and moons. • Sol, a cheerful little sun, explains each new idea the first time you meet it, in short voiced and captioned tips. MADE FOR EVERYONE • One flick to learn, endless orbits to master. Easy for young players, deep enough for grown-ups. • Built for iPhone and iPad, with smooth 120 Hz animation on ProMotion displays. • No ads. No tracking. No accounts. Your progress stays on your device. More star systems and Orbit Lab, a free-form gravity sandbox, are optional one-time unlocks. Pick up a planet and sling it around the star. Gravity does the rest. Planet imagery: NASA, NASA/JPL/Space Science Institute and USGS Astrogeology. Orbit Slinger is not affiliated with or endorsed by NASA or USGS.Read more
