About
ParkKlar answers the question before the parking question: where should you park at all? Enter your destination and planned stay — ParkKlar compares street parking, garages and Park & Ride for Salzburg and recommends the best legal option for your time window. THE COMPARISON • Street parking: Does a short-stay zone apply? Does its maximum stay cover yours? Ticket or parking disc? • Garages & lots: verified tariffs, opening hours, walking time — with live occupancy where the city reports it. • Park & Ride: all official Salzburg P&R sites, including the combined transit ticket. HONEST ANSWERS ParkKlar shows what the data supports — nothing more. "Verified", "Check the sign" or "No digital rule found": every answer names its source and data age. Near a zone boundary the app tells you to read the sign on your side of the street. Missing prices say "Unknown", not "free". PARK & REMEMBER Once parked, ParkKlar suggests the rule-compliant end time (maximum stay included), saves your parking position and reminds you in time — locally on your device, no account. PAYMENT STAYS WITH YOU ParkKlar takes no payments. Where a fee applies, it hands off to your provider — EasyPark, HANDYPARKEN, or the machine on site. PRIVACY No account, no tracking, no servers of our own. Location, parking position and timers stay on your iPhone; destination autocomplete uses Google Places. Official Salzburg short-stay zones are bundled offline (data: City of Salzburg, CC BY-SA 3.0 AT). INDEPENDENT ParkKlar is not affiliated with the City of Salzburg or any payment provider. It is a decision aid, not an authority: signs, roadworks and on-site instructions always win. Currently Salzburg — more cities follow once official data is available.Read more
