About
Explore the decisions, communications and documented facts behind aviation incidents. ATC Archive brings 27 recorded-radio case reviews and 168 aviation case entries together in one iPhone library. Search by flight, airline or location, then open a case to follow its timeline and understand the aircraft, people and outcome. WATCH AND FOLLOW Play available episodes in 16:9, open a landscape view and jump between key events. Follow available radio captions alongside the visual review. Selected radio editions shorten verified quiet sections while keeping the episode timeline aligned. LOOK BEYOND THE HEADLINE Read aircraft and route details, passenger and crew figures, documented conditions and investigation findings where sources establish them. Browse available photographs, official documents and original source links. KEEP YOUR PLACE Save cases and resume playback on your device. Included videos and case information work offline; external source links need an internet connection. KNOW WHAT THE EVIDENCE SHOWS Coverage varies by case. Every playable case includes original radio. Ten newer reviews have partial source or caption coverage, with those limits identified in the app. Some reviews show separately timed recordings or silent recorded-flight-data sections; these are labeled and are not presented as synchronized radio reconstructions. Cases awaiting recordings remain research entries without a playable film. Report summaries are distinguished from radio captions, and missing positions or uncertain timing are disclosed. A historical review is not a live flight tracker or an operational aviation tool. Some cases discuss fatalities, injuries and distressing events. The collection presents them as factual aviation history, with respect for those involved. FREE FILMS AND FULL ARCHIVE Watch US Airways 1549, JFK 2023 (American 106 / Delta 1943), and Southwest 1380 free. One optional, non-consumable in-app purchase unlocks all other available films. No subscription. Research entries remain freely accessible and do not yet contain films. Purchases are processed by Apple and can be restored using the same Apple Account.Read more
