About

Calendar notifications are easy to miss. A Focus mode swallows them and they slide off the Lock Screen. Bellringer turns your meetings into real alarms, the kind the Clock app uses, so they ring through Silent mode and Focus. It works with every calendar on your iPhone or iPad: iCloud, Google, Outlook and Exchange, any CalDAV account, subscribed calendars, and calendars kept only on the device. You add accounts in Settings like you already do, so Bellringer never asks for a password. SET IT UP ONCE WITH RULES • Anything called "standup": an alarm 5 minutes before • A weekly review: an alarm 10 minutes before, plus a notification an hour ahead to prepare • Meetings you're optional for, or have declined: no alarm • Everything else: your default, say 10 minutes before Pick a ready-made rule or build your own. A rule can look at the title, the calendar, the day, your reply or role, a video call link, who organized the meeting and how long it runs. A meeting can have up to five alerts, at any time you choose, down to the second. Rules are checked from the top, and every meeting tells you whether it will ring and why. You can still change a single meeting, or every time a series repeats. SEE YOUR DAY Day, week and month views, and a list of what's coming. Meetings that won't ring have a dashed outline, so the ones that will stand out. CATCHES THE LATE ONES A meeting that reaches your phone after its alarm time, like one added overnight, rings as soon as Bellringer sees it. The same meeting in several accounts rings once. To check at times you pick, like when your morning alarm stops, add Bellringer's Update Alarms action to a Shortcuts automation. JOIN FROM THE ALARM Tap Open on a ringing alarm to go straight to the meeting, with a Join button for Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Webex links. ADD ANY CALENDAR Bellringer shows the steps for adding a Google, Microsoft 365 or Exchange, Outlook.com, iCloud, Yahoo or CalDAV account in Settings. If your company keeps work accounts off your phone, you can subscribe to a private calendar link instead, or import events from an .ics file. PRIVACY • No account, no sign-in, no server • No analytics, no ads, no tracking. Bellringer has no networking code of its own. • Your rules and choices stay on the device; your meetings aren't saved. Meetings are recognised by scrambled codes, never by title. • Optional iCloud sync keeps your rules the same on iPhone and iPad, through your own iCloud account. • Hide meeting titles on alarms, for every calendar or just your work ones. Requires iOS 26.1 or later.Read more

Set an alert for any time before a meeting, down to the second, on hour, minute and second wheels like the Clock timer's. A meeting or rule can now have up to five alerts. New rules can start from a common one, like standups, video calls or meetings you organize, or keep optional, declined and weekend meetings quiet. The editor only shows the conditions a rule uses, and you see which meetings it changes before you save. To add a Google, Outlook or work account, open Settings › Calendars › Add an Account in Bellringer for the steps in the iOS Settings app. If your company blocks work accounts…
