Finish the job with a report you can hand over. ProofBook helps independent renovation contractors document work on site. Organize each job by area, label before, during and after photos, record observations and prepare a branded PDF for your client. GIVE EVERY PHOTO CONTEXT Capture or import supported still photos, add captions and organize the evidence. Crop, rotate and annotate details. Opaque redactions are burned into the images used in your report. Private originals remain in your library for editing. RECORD WHAT HAPPENED Answer checklists with Done, Not done or Not applicable, and add reasons where needed. Keep findings and follow-up work visible. Prepared reports include unresolved findings and unrecorded optional checklist items, so the document reflects the record you entered. PREVIEW WHAT YOU HAND OVER Add your business name and logo, choose A4 or US Letter, and review the actual PDF before sharing or printing. Long captions continue onto additional pages. Internal notes stay separate from public captions and are excluded from the PDF. KEEP EACH VERSION Prepared PDFs remain saved as separate versions. Public edits create a new unsigned report revision while earlier files stay unchanged. An optional acknowledgment records the statement 'I have been shown this report.' It can be skipped. WORK OFFLINE No ProofBook account is required. Once photos have been acquired, the core job and report workflow works offline. A Photos or Files provider may need a connection to download a selected image first. Sharing destinations and Apple purchase services have their own connection requirements. KEEP CONTROL OF YOUR LIBRARY Free includes one active job and the core photo, checklist, findings, branding, PDF and backup tools. Archive a job to free active-job capacity while keeping it available to edit and export. Archiving retains its files and does not free device storage. Save editable backups to a destination you choose. These contain private notes, acquired original photos and saved reports. Originals may retain metadata and content hidden in your public report. Operational limits include 500 stored jobs, 10,000 photos in the library, 200 photos per job and 100 report body pages, plus an optional acknowledgment page. Available device storage also applies.
