About
CaloDaily is a calorie and fitness tracker built around two numbers: what you eat, and what you burn. No wearable required, no ads, no data selling. TWO TARGETS, ONE SCREEN Today shows what is left to eat and what is left to move, worked out from your own height, weight, age, activity and goal. Tap "How are my targets worked out?" and it shows the arithmetic instead of hiding it. LOG FOOD IN SECONDS Search a database of hundreds of thousands of foods, scan a barcode, or tap a meal you have saved before. Portions can be set by count or by weight, and the app remembers how you usually eat a food so the next time is one tap. BALANCED PLATE Not sure what a portion should look like? Pick the plate your meal resembles - a veg thali, chicken curry with rice, fish curry, a bean bowl, eggs and toast - and see it drawn to the proportions it should have: half vegetables, a quarter protein, a quarter grain. Portions are given in hand measures, so nothing needs weighing. One tap logs it with real calories and macros. STEPS FROM APPLE HEALTH Your iPhone already counts your steps. CaloDaily reads the daily total from Health - the step count and nothing else - so there is no number to copy across. It never writes to Health, and never lowers a figure you entered yourself. MEAL PLANS FROM YOUR OWN PANTRY Tell CaloDaily what is in your kitchen and it builds a week of meals from those ingredients - not from a stock plan full of things you would have to go out and buy. A readiness chart shows whether your pantry can hit your protein, carb and fat targets, and what to add if it cannot. WORKOUTS THAT FIT YOU Weekly workout plans built around the equipment you own and the limitations you have, whether that is a bad lower back, a sensitive neck, or nothing but a pair of dumbbells. Log a session and the calories are estimated from the activity, minutes and intensity. WATER, STEPS AND WEIGHT Log water a glass at a time, with reminders that stop once you reach your target. Watch your weight trend over weeks rather than agonising over one morning's number. WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL Log food and water on a plane or in a basement and the day still adds up. Anything logged offline is kept on your phone and sent the moment you are back online. LOOKS THE WAY YOU LIKE Six visual themes, from a clean default to a pit-lane tachometer, a cricket scoreboard, a trekking summit, an Indian thali and a retro arcade. Every theme shows the same numbers in the same places - only the styling changes. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No advertising, no analytics, no third-party tracking, and your data is never sold. Sign in with Apple is used only to know who you are, and Hide My Email is fully supported. Delete your account from inside the app and everything goes with it. CaloDaily gives general guidance on food and exercise. It is not a medical device and not medical advice - talk to a doctor or dietitian about your own health.Read more

TWO TARGETS, ONE SCREEN
Today shows what is left to eat and what is left to move, worked out from your own height, weight, age, activity and goal. Tap "How are my targets worked out?" and it shows the arithmetic instead of hiding it.
LOG FOOD IN SECONDS
Search a database of hundreds of thousands of foods, scan a barcode, or tap a meal you have saved before. Portions can be set by count or by weight, and the app remembers how you usually eat a food so the next time is one tap.
BALANCED PLATE
Not sure what a portion should look like? Pick the plate your meal resembles - a veg thali, chicken curry with rice, fish curry, a bean bowl, eggs and toast - and see it drawn to the proportions it should have: half vegetables, a quarter protein, a quarter grain. Portions are given in hand measures, so nothing needs weighing. One tap logs it with real calories and macros.
STEPS FROM APPLE HEALTH
Your iPhone already counts your steps. CaloDaily reads the daily total from Health - the step count and nothing else - so there is no number to copy across. It never writes to Health, and never lowers a figure you entered yourself.
MEAL PLANS FROM YOUR OWN PANTRY
Tell CaloDaily what is in your kitchen and it builds a week of meals from those ingredients - not from a stock plan full of things you would have to go out and buy. A readiness chart shows whether your pantry can hit your protein, carb and fat targets, and what to add if it cannot.
