About
Firepot turns a trip frame — days, day types, eaters, fishing outlook — into a day-by-day menu, a shopping list in grams and a set of packed bags, then learns from what the crew actually ate. It is a tool for the quartermaster of a taiga group: the one who buys the buckwheat, packs the dry bags and answers for the salt running out on day six. Trips Five steps set a trip up: name and dates or a day count; mode (Float, Base Camp, Winter Cabin, Portage); crew — adults, children at 0.7 of a portion, vegetarians, big eaters at +15 %; a day grid where each day is Paddle, Layover, Portage, Drive-in or Drive-out, with a Cold Day switch; and a fishing outlook. Plan by Rules builds the menu on the device with no signal. Plan with Firepot sends the numbers to an AI planner and shows a preview first. Each day lists Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks and Drinks against its kcal target and dry weight per person; any slot can be swapped, removed or topped up with an extra; catch days carry a fallback dinner; Regenerate Day rebuilds one day without repeating its neighbours. Shopping and bags The plan aggregates into a list by shelf — grains, canned, dried and cured, sweets, drinks, spices, bread and flour — with a Bought tick, an actual-weight field, Round Up to Packs, totals per person and per person-day, and a plain-text share. Bags splits the list across dry bags by weight, or puts the first three days into a Day Bag; items move between bags by drag or menu. Cook Log and Debrief On the trail every slot is marked Cooked, Swapped, Skipped or Catch Instead, with leftovers, a mark out of five and a note; products that ran out are flagged on the list. Finish & Debrief reports real weight per person-day, dinners covered by fish, ratings and shortages, and proposes norm tweaks to save for the next trip. Pantry 46 built-in taiga dishes with grams per person, kcal, cook time, heat source, tags, fire steps and a Taiga Note; 52 products with kcal per 100 g, pack sizes, shelf life and damp-storage advice. Own dishes join the planners on equal terms. Campfire An AI chat that reads the active trip by identifiers, with preset asks — Stretch the Ration, Swap Ingredient, Cook This Catch, Cold Snap, Kids' Table — and an offline set of answers when there is no signal. Norms accumulate from debriefs and apply to the next plan. A logbook keeps every debriefed trip with stats, and 18 badges climb a ladder from Kettle Hand to Firepot Master.Read more
