Leadership by STRASYS replaces manual development plans with a structured leadership system. Most development plans are written once, in a document, by one person, and never survive contact with the year. DEFINE WHAT THE ROLE ACTUALLY NEEDS Map your job titles across twelve tiers, from C-Suite to entry level, then set which competencies each title really requires and how much: Essential, Important or Supportive. Sixteen leadership competencies ship with written definitions, and you can edit them or add your own up to twenty-five. TWO RATERS, NOT ONE An assessment round sends two single-use links: one to the employee, one to their line manager. They rate the same competencies Basic, Advanced or Expert, independently, and neither sees the other's answers. Nobody is rated by a single person. HR DECIDES, AND THE RECORD IS KEPT Calibration puts both readings side by side, largest gap first. One click per person: take the employee's level, the manager's level, the average, or set it manually. Calibrating locks the record, and the raw answers are never overwritten. TRAINING THAT COMES FROM THE GAP Locking a record auto-generates that person's development plan from your training catalogue, which holds a programme per competency per level with provider, hours and cost. Track each item to Assigned, Completed or Excluded, with a certificate link. Line managers get a cycle-long link that lets them update only their own direct reports' training status. They never need an account. SEE THE WHOLE ORGANISATION Competency Intelligence shows the organisation-wide Basic, Advanced and Expert distribution with a radar view, a department breakdown and a gap table sorted weakest first. Analytics lists every employee with status, training progress and a readiness score. Twelve tools include a nine-box grid, competency insight, training investment, development ROI, employee comparison, multi-cycle performance trend and a fiscal year report. YEAR OVER YEAR Closing an assessment cycle freezes an immutable snapshot and unlocks everyone for the next period, so this year is genuinely comparable with last year. Promotions, lateral moves and demotions are kept in role history. EVERYTHING IS LOGGED An immutable audit trail records every write, by whom, whether from an HR account or from a link. SECURITY AND PRIVACY Data is isolated per organisation and stored in the European Union. AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, Firebase App Check on every request. There is no inventory, no normed scale and no test items. A person rates observed workplace competencies on a three-point scale, and the employee rates themselves as part of the same round.
