Photories gives your photographs a sense of time. Choose photographs that matter to you and build a personal collection. Their look develops from the date they were taken, with the character of an aging print. An older photograph has its own history from the moment you import it. YOUR COLLECTION, AT YOUR PACE Browse photographs by year and month, then open a photograph to enjoy it on its own. Revisit memories from this day in earlier years. A DARKROOM FOR YOUR LOOK Set up the aging style in the Darkroom. Adjust the feel of your collection and freeze a photograph's look when you want to keep it as it is. ORIGINALS STAY UNCHANGED Photories keeps a local copy of imported originals and creates its effects on your device. Export an aged image or your original when you want to keep or share it. A SMALL REMINDER OF ANOTHER YEAR Turn on optional daily memories to receive a local notification when photographs in your imported collection match today's date in an earlier year. The notification tells you how many are waiting. Delivery depends on your device settings; opening Photories refreshes upcoming reminders. PRIVATE PHOTOGRAPHS Your photographs are not uploaded to a Photories server. Optional usage analytics is disabled for this launch. Purchases are handled through the App Store and our subscription provider. Device backups and destinations you choose for exports follow their own settings. PHOTORIES SUBSCRIPTION Photories Plus unlocks personal collection viewing, aging effects, imports, saved Darkroom looks, date corrections, freezing/resuming, daily memories and aged exports. Without an active subscription, the personal collection is locked but its photos and saved looks are retained. Bundled samples and Darkroom previews remain free. Use Collection settings → Recover or remove originals to export unchanged originals or delete Photories copies without subscribing. After resubscribing, unfrozen photographs render from their capture dates; frozen looks remain frozen. Choose a monthly or yearly subscription. The price and billing period are shown before purchase, in your local currency. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account settings. No free trial is offered at launch. Photories does not provide a cloud backup or photo-library sync service. Keep your source photographs and important exports somewhere safe.
