Bush Kid

Your own DIY bush kindy. No waiting list. No elaborate craft cupboard. Just your small human, somewhere outside and a plan. Bush Kid helps parents and carers turn the backyard, local park or a patch of bush into an adventure. Built around Australian nature and real family life, it gives you ideas for what to do, what to take and how to get started. For the mornings when everyone needs to get out of the house, but thinking of something to do feels like another job. Keep it simple or make a morning of it. GIVE LITTLE EXPLORERS A MISSION Try spotting challenges, nature games and outdoor projects that give curious kids something to investigate. A stick can still be the highlight. We respect that. BUILD YOUR ADVENTURE PASSPORT Keep a record of your adventures and collect patches along the way. KEEP USEFUL TOOLS CLOSE Find practical outdoor tools and guidance in the Toolbelt, ready when you need them. OPEN THE APP. THEN GET OUTSIDE. Bush Kid is a planning companion for grown-ups, with activities to enjoy together away from the screen. You do not need a huge garden or to be an outdoorsy person. Start with the space you have. Designed with young children and their grown-ups in mind. Activities require adult supervision and should be chosen to suit your child, the location and conditions. Bush Kid offers DIY nature-play ideas; it is not a childcare service or accredited kindergarten program. Small humans. Big adventures.
