Signing in is Apple, Google or a code by e-mail, with no password to invent. Your SIM stays put, so your number keeps taking calls and texts and WhatsApp carries on there. The eSIM only carries data. Where it reaches Local networks across Indonesia, 4G/LTE and 5G where that exists: Bali, Lombok, the Gilis, Jakarta. The airport you connect through is not part of it; for that there are regional plans with fixed data — Asia (two of them), Singapore & Malaysia & Thailand, Australia & New Zealand. If you never install it An eSIM left uninstalled, with no data through it, is refunded in full within 15 days of buying, no reason asked.
