About
ARROW Setup is the field companion for ARROW hardware. It connects directly to an ARROW device over Bluetooth Low Energy, so you can bring a device online and confirm it is working before you leave the site, without needing a laptop, a console cable, or an existing network connection. WHAT YOU CAN DO Overview See the device health at a glance and the single headline answer you came for: whether the device is reachable, and if not, what is stopping it. Problems are named plainly, with a link to the matching troubleshooting page. Network Read the current network configuration and change it. Switch between DHCP and a static address, and set the address, gateway, and DNS servers. Apply the change and watch the device pick it up. Cellular Check the state of the cellular link: carrier, signal band, and SIM status. Useful when the wired network is unavailable or when you are confirming that failover will work. Remote Confirm the device has reached the ARROW platform and that a remote consultant can now connect to it. This is the check that tells you the installation is finished. Help Direct links into the ARROW documentation, including troubleshooting pages matched to the exact problem the device is reporting. If the device cannot get online, collect its diagnostics over Bluetooth and send them to ARROW support from your phone. REQUIRES ARROW HARDWARE This app does nothing on its own. It is a companion to ARROW devices supplied by VTEM Labs, and it needs to be within Bluetooth range of one. You connect by entering the serial number printed on the device, and the device authorizes the session before it answers anything. PRIVACY The connection is local. ARROW Setup talks to the device over Bluetooth. It has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, and no tracking. The only time it sends anything is when you choose to send a device's diagnostics to ARROW support, and that bundle describes the ARROW device, not you or your phone. It remembers the serial number of the last device you connected to, so you do not have to type it again. Bluetooth access is used for one purpose: finding and connecting to your ARROW device. The app does not use Bluetooth to determine your location.Read more

See the device health at a glance and the single headline answer you came for: whether the
device is reachable, and if not, what is stopping it. Problems are named plainly, with a
link to the matching troubleshooting page.
Network

address, and set the address, gateway, and DNS servers. Apply the change and watch the
device pick it up.
Cellular
Check the state of the cellular link: carrier, signal band, and SIM status. Useful when
the wired network is unavailable or when you are confirming that failover will work.
Remote

Help
Direct links into the ARROW documentation, including troubleshooting pages matched to the
exact problem the device is reporting. If the device cannot get online, collect its
diagnostics over Bluetooth and send them to ARROW support from your phone.
REQUIRES ARROW HARDWARE
This app does nothing on its own. It is a companion to ARROW devices supplied by VTEM
Labs, and it needs to be within Bluetooth range of one. You connect by entering the serial
number printed on the device, and the device authorizes the session before it answers
anything.
PRIVACY
The connection is local. ARROW Setup talks to the device over Bluetooth. It has no
account, no sign-in, no analytics, and no tracking. The only time it sends anything is when
you choose to send a device's diagnostics to ARROW support, and that bundle describes the
ARROW device, not you or your phone. It remembers the serial number of the last device you
connected to, so you do not have to type it again.
Bluetooth access is used for one purpose: finding and connecting to your ARROW device.
The app does not use Bluetooth to determine your location.
