Today's puzzle is the same one for everyone. Kanaate is a daily Japanese word puzzle. You get eight tries at the 4-kana word and ten at the 5-kana one. HOW TO PLAY 1. Type a word you think it might be, using the kana keyboard. 2. The tile colours tell you how close you are. Green - the kana is in the word, in that exact spot Yellow - the kana is in the word, but somewhere else Grey - the kana is not in the word 3. Use those hints to pick your next word. That is the whole rule. You can start playing straight away. FOUR MODES - Today's 4-kana - a new word every day at midnight (JST), the same for everyone - Today's 5-kana - a second, tougher word for the day - Practice - play as many times as you like, any time - Archive - go back and solve past puzzles SHARE WITHOUT SPOILING IT Your result shares as a grid of coloured squares. It shows how many tries you took but never reveals the word, so you can challenge a friend on the same puzzle.
