About
Customers are lining up at your little lock stall. A courier lost the key to a bike lock, a hotel guest forgot the room safe combination, and a farmer's barn door has rusted shut with the goats inside. Every job is a hands-on puzzle you solve with your own fingers. FEEL EVERY PIN Hold a tension wrench in the sweet spot and lift pins one at a time. The binding pin feels stiff, clicks at the shear line, and the plug turns a little further. Spool pins trick you with a false set and push back against your wrench. Serrated pins click more than once. With haptics on, every set is a small, satisfying click. FIVE KINDS OF LOCKS, FIVE WAYS TO PLAY - Padlocks and door cylinders: classic pin-tumbler picking with spools and serrated pins - Wafer locks: push flat plates flush from above and below, or jiggle them into place - Lever locks: press the bolt, lift levers with a curtain pick and learn to spot false gates - Combination safes: spin the dial, listen with a stethoscope and mark the contact points - Key cutting: read a code or an old impression and grind a new key without overcutting GROW YOUR SHOP Start with a cart and a striped awning. Earn coins and reputation to become a Corner Kiosk, a Street Shop, a two-storey Workshop and finally the City Locksmith. Each step unlocks new lock families and a bigger, livelier storefront. TOOLS AND UPGRADES Hang 14 tools on your pegboard: tension wrenches that widen the sweet spot, feeler hooks that reveal the binding pin, rakes, a key duplicator, a loupe, a curtain pick and a safe stethoscope. Improve your workbench with a lamp, vise, felt mat, painted sign, tea kettle and radio. A CABINET OF 36 LOCKS Every model you open lands in your lock cabinet with a live animated cross-section and a plain-language explanation of how it works. Replay any of them on the practice bench. REASONS TO COME BACK A new Lock of the Day with double pay, a daily tip jar with streaks, fresh customers every two hours, 28 achievements with coin rewards and a craft ledger that tracks your level in every lock family. SPOTTING JOURNAL Snap the gates, padlocks and doors you pass on your walks, or pick photos from your library. Tag the lock type, add a note and earn a daily spotter bonus. Photos never leave your device. MADE WITH CARE Hand-drawn cartoon art, crafted sound effects, a relaxed workshop tune, haptic clicks, Dark Mode, iPhone and iPad layouts in portrait and landscape, and full offline play. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Pin & Tumbler is a game. Mechanisms are simplified for play and are not instructions for real locks.Read more
