About
Last Dose answers one question: when did I last take it? Open the app and the answer is the first thing on screen, in large type — what you took, how long ago, and whether another dose is possible yet. Paracetamol, ibuprofen, an antihistamine, a migraine tablet: anything you take on demand rather than on a fixed schedule. FREE TO DOWNLOAD. ONE IN-APP PURCHASE, NO SUBSCRIPTION. Last Dose is free to download. A single optional in-app purchase, paid once, unlocks the full version — and that is the only payment there will ever be. No subscription, no trial that turns into a bill, no recurring charge, no advertising. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR DEVICE Last Dose collects no data at all. There is no account to create, no email to hand over, no cloud to sync with. The app makes no network requests of any kind — none — so your medication record cannot be transmitted anywhere, to us or to anyone else. No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, no tracking. It asks for no system permissions: not your contacts, not your photos, not your location, not Health data. Your record is written to your device's private storage and is removed with the app. WHAT IT DOES • Record a dose with one tap. The time stays on screen: "2 h 15 min ago, at 12:45". • Set optional limits per medication — a minimum time between doses, and a maximum number of doses per 12 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours or 7 days. • The status tells you when the next dose is possible, and which limit you are waiting on. • Forgot to log one? Record an earlier dose at the time it was actually taken. • Undo any action: recording a dose, removing one, deleting a medication. • A history for each medication, day by day, so you can see the pattern of a bad week. It is a record, not a scheduler. There are no alarms and no notifications. You write down what you took and when; the app does the arithmetic you should not have to do while you are in pain. BUILT TO BE READ • Luciole throughout — a typeface designed with and for low-vision readers. • Status is never colour alone: an icon, a sentence and a colour, every time. • Every control is at least 48 points. Nothing important hides behind a gesture. • Full VoiceOver support; recording a dose announces itself. • Dynamic Type to the largest sizes without losing a word off the screen. • A high-contrast mode, in light and in dark. • iPhone, iPad and foldables: on a wide window the list sits beside the detail. IMPORTANT Last Dose keeps a record; it does not give medical advice and it is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or recommend a dose. The limits it counts against are the ones you type in yourself, from your own prescription or package leaflet. Follow the instructions of your pharmacist, your doctor or the leaflet.
