About
Holy Bible Cenacle is the Catholic Bible built for study — and for finding your parish. The Cenacle was the upper room where the first community listened to the Word and broke bread together: reading and gathering, which is exactly what this app does. THE FULL CANON, EXPLAINED All 73 books in Catholic order, grouped the way they actually belong: Pentateuch, historical, wisdom and prophetic books; then the Gospels, Acts, the letters of Saint Paul, the Catholic epistles and Revelation. The deuterocanonical books — Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch and the books of Maccabees — are marked with a gold dot, so you can see which ones they are and why some editions leave them out. Fourteen Bible versions in eleven languages, all public domain, included in the app. Nothing to download afterwards. READ AND COMPARE The text flows without anything in the way: there are no ads on the reading screen, ever. Compare mode puts two versions side by side, lined up verse by verse. It is the fastest way to see why one translation says one thing and another says something else. If the version you picked doesn't include a certain book, the app tells you and offers the ones that do, instead of showing you an empty screen. SEARCH THAT ACTUALLY FINDS Type a word and it appears instantly, across the whole open version. Accents don't matter: "Jesus" finds "Jesús". And the beginning of a word is enough: "lov" finds "love" and "loved". You can narrow the search to the Old or the New Testament. YOUR STUDY NOTEBOOK Press and hold a verse to highlight it, attach a note or save a bookmark. Everything gathers in the Study tab, and you can export it whenever you want: what you write is yours. None of it leaves your phone. CHURCHES NEAR YOU The Churches tab searches our own parish directory and shows you the ones close by, with their address, phone number, website and Mass times when we have them verified. It also shows parish activities and, where it exists, community help: the days and hours when a church hands out food, with the source of the information and when it was last checked. If a church doesn't have that confirmed, we don't make it up — it simply isn't there. You can search by location — only with your permission, and only approximate — or just type your city. Both work equally well. NO ACCOUNTS, NO CONNECTION NEEDED No sign-up, no email, no password. Reading the Bible works offline: only the Churches tab needs a connection, to reach the directory. TEN LANGUAGES The app is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Dutch, Polish, Haitian Creole and Chinese. FREE, WITH QUIET ADS Holy Bible Cenacle is free and supported by small banners at the bottom of the Library and Study notebook. They never appear while you are reading Scripture. There are no full-screen ads between chapters and no forced videos.Read more

THE FULL CANON, EXPLAINED
