About

BeamShift Logbook is a focused laboratory journal for physicists, researchers and experimental teams working with beamtime sessions, detector systems and accelerator based experiments. The app is designed to make experimental shift documentation faster and easier to review. Create a beamtime session and record important events as they happen. Log run starts and stops, detector checks, calibrations, sample changes, beamline observations, technical issues and general notes without interrupting the flow of the experiment. Each session becomes a structured timeline that can be reviewed later or used to prepare a clear shift handoff. BeamShift Logbook also includes an interactive beamline view where important components such as the source, collimator, target, magnet and detector can be represented as part of the experimental setup. Main features include: Experimental session logging Run start and stop records Detector checks Calibration records Sample change tracking Beamline observations Issue and anomaly notes Interactive beamline overview Structured shift timeline Session archive Experimental activity statistics Shift handoff summaries Local data storage No account or login required BeamShift Logbook is intended as a documentation and organizational companion. It does not control laboratory equipment, perform radiation safety assessment or replace certified experimental systems. All experimental information is entered manually by the user and stored locally on the device. The app is designed for researchers who want a clear, modern and practical way to keep beamtime records organized throughout an experimental shift.Read more
