About
Your apps now have a bouncer. Denied locks the apps that eat your day — short-video feeds, social apps, games, any app you choose. Want in? Talk your way in. Say your excuse out loud and an AI gatekeeper decides: a few minutes granted, or a flat-out DENIED with a roast you'll want to screenshot. PICK YOUR GATEKEEPER • Bouncer — strict but fair. Few words. Not on the list? Not getting in. • Mom — guilt-trips you with love. "Again, honey?" • Drill Sergeant — no excuses, recruit. • Therapist — asks what's really behind the urge. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose the apps to lock. Apple's Screen Time locks them at the system level. 2. Try to open one. The gatekeeper stops you at the door. 3. Make your case out loud. Specific, honest reasons get 5–30 minutes. "Just checking" gets denied. 4. The door closes again when your time is up — even if you close Denied. YOU SET THE RULES • Attempts per day (default 3) and a daily minute budget the AI can never exceed • Unlock lengths of 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes • Lock schedules for work hours or bedtime • Strict mode: no "never mind" button, you have to talk PRIVACY Your voice is transcribed on your phone. Only the text of your excuse is sent to the gatekeeper, and nothing is stored with your identity. Which apps you lock never leaves your device. Denied Pro is required to use the app: $29.99/year with a 3-day free trial, or $4.99/week. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
