About

Telugu Shikho teaches you to speak Telugu the way you actually learn a language: by listening and repeating, not by memorizing a script. Every lesson is built around real spoken Telugu — greetings, family words, numbers, food, shopping, getting around, and the festivals that make Telugu culture what it is (Ugadi, Sankranti, Bathukamma, and more). HOW IT WORKS - Listen to each word or phrase, spoken clearly at normal and slow speed - See it spelled out the easy way (English letters), so you're never stuck trying to read Telugu script first - Practice with quick listening and speaking exercises after every lesson - Record yourself and compare your pronunciation with the model voice - Short conversations show you how phrases are actually used together, not just as a word list WHY SPEAKING FIRST Most people who want to learn Telugu want to talk to family, order food, or get through a trip — not pass a reading test. Telugu Shikho skips the script entirely at first, so you can start having real conversations faster. FEATURES - 25 short lessons across four levels: First Conversations, Family, Daily Life, and Festivals & Fun - Every phrase includes native audio, at normal and slow speed - Speaking practice with your own microphone - Streaks and progress tracking to keep you going - Works offline once installed - No ads, no account required, no data collected Telugu Shikho is part of a small family of spoken-language apps built the same way — Gujarati Shikho and Punjabi Sikho are also available if you're learning more than one Indian language.Read more
