Green Arc: Scheduler

Green Arc is the scheduling and operations app for flight schools — for the students, renters, instructors and mechanics who use one every day. Your school runs on Green Arc. You use it to fly. A COMPANION APP FOR MEMBERS OF A GREEN ARC SCHOOL This app is a companion to the Green Arc web service your flight school subscribes to. You need an account at a school that already uses Green Arc — your school invites you, and there is no sign-up, purchase or subscription in this app. Nothing is sold here: flying, instruction and rental are arranged and paid for with your school directly, exactly as they always were. BOOK AND FLY • See the whole schedule, or just yours • Book an aircraft or a lesson, and see straight away if something conflicts • Check out at the aeroplane, record Hobbs and tach, and check back in when you land • Photograph the Hobbs at check-out so the reading is never in dispute • Your flights, hours and training records in one place KNOW BEFORE YOU GO • Aircraft status at a glance, including anything that would stop you flying • Medical, flight review and endorsement dates, with reminders before they lapse • Squawks you can file from your phone the moment you notice something • Recommend grounding an aircraft when you would not fly it again — an administrator is alerted to decide FOR INSTRUCTORS • Today's students and tomorrow's shape, on one screen • Log lessons, hours and endorsements after the flight • Your availability, your pay period and your hours given FOR STAFF • Dispatch, maintenance and work orders • Member accounts, invoices and the school's books • Reports on flying, revenue and aircraft use WORKS WHERE YOU FLY Green Arc keeps working when the signal does not. Check out on the ramp with no bars and it saves; the app catches up when you are back in range. NOTES You need an account with a flight school that uses Green Arc. Accounts are created by your school, not in the app. Charges recorded in Green Arc are your account balance with your school. You pay the school directly — the app never handles card payments. Green Arc shows currency, expiry and maintenance information to help you and your school keep track. It is a convenience, not an authority: the pilot in command remains responsible for determining that the aircraft is airworthy and that they are legal for the flight.
