About
EV Calc shows, at a glance, how much a change in your camera settings affects brightness, measured in stops. Store your reference exposure with "SET", then turn the shutter, aperture, ISO and ND wheels. The difference from your reference appears large at the center of the screen, such as "+0.7" or "-1.3". Use it as a guide for how much to compensate after adding an ND filter or changing aperture or ISO. KEY FEATURES • Four wheels for shutter, aperture, ISO and ND filter • "SET" stores your reference exposure and shows the difference in stops (positive is brighter, negative is darker) • Color coding: your reference value in green, brighter options in orange, darker options in blue • Reference EV and current EV are always visible • Shutter angle shown like "1/48 (180°)". Choose the frame rate from 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94, 60 or 120 fps, or turn the display off • ISO step: 1 stop, 1/2 stop or 1/3 stop • ND filter unit: density (such as 0.3), ND number (such as ND8) or stops (such as 3 stops) • Remembers your last settings and resumes where you left off • Landscape-only, dark-mode interface that is easy to read on set • No account and no network connection required NOTE Displayed exposure differences and EV values are theoretical. Actual exposure may differ depending on your camera and lens. Please use them as a guide.Read more
