About

Editing a recording usually means staring at a waveform and guessing where a word ends. ATCutter turns that around: it writes down what you said and lets you edit the text. Delete a word, a phrase or a pause — the sound disappears with it. How it works • Record your voice, or import a file you already have (M4A, MP3, WAV, CAF, AIFF, or the audio track of a video). • ATCutter transcribes the recording and ties every word to its exact moment in the sound. • Tap a word to jump there. Long-press to delete it. Select a range to cut a whole phrase. • Removed words stay on screen, crossed out, so you can bring any of them back. Undo goes 200 steps deep. • Clean up in one move: remove long pauses, or find the "um"s and "uh"s and confirm which ones to drop. • Export as M4A or WAV and share it anywhere. Nothing leaves your iPhone Transcription and editing happen on the device. Your voice is never uploaded — not to us, not to anyone. The app has no accounts, no analytics and no ads. Careful with your recording The original file is never modified. Every cut is a decision you can undo, and the edited version is assembled only when you press play or export. Cuts land on the quietest point next to the word, with short fades, so joins don't click. Recognition works in every language your iPhone can transcribe on device — more than fifty. ATCutter picks the language from the ones set on your phone; you can change it in Settings or for a single recording. Requires iOS 26. Recognition models are downloaded once and then work offline. Free to install: recording, importing and transcription cost nothing. Editing the transcript is a one-time purchase, and the first three days are open with no purchase at all.Read more
