About

Persian is easier than it looks. The alphabet has 32 letters, the grammar has almost no irregularity, and there are no genders, no cases and no articles. What makes it feel hard is that short vowels are not written — so you have to learn a word together with its sound. This app is built around that. YOU START WHERE IT MAKES SENSE The 32 letters, one at a time, with every shape a letter takes at the start, in the middle and at the end of a word. Then the short vowels nobody writes down, then your first sentence. 245 WORDS, CHOSEN NOT COLLECTED Greetings, family, food, numbers, colours, travel, shopping, work, health, feelings, the body, the home. Every word has audio, an example sentence and a note when Persian does something you would not expect. 61 VERBS, FULLY CONJUGATED Persian verbs are prefix + stem + ending. Once you know the stem, every tense follows. The app conjugates all 61 across six tenses and six persons — present, past, present perfect, future, subjunctive and imperative, negative or affirmative, written or spoken. A TRAINER THAT MAKES YOU PRODUCE, NOT RECOGNISE Most apps let you tap the right answer out of four. That teaches you to recognise Persian, not to speak it. In the verb trainer you type the form yourself. There is nothing to guess from. THE PERSIAN PEOPLE ACTUALLY SPEAK Books teach می‌روم. Tehran says می‌رم. Books teach خانه. Tehran says خونه. Both are in here, side by side, so you are not surprised the first time you hear a real sentence. 12 CONVERSATIONS, 109 LINES Meeting someone, a restaurant, directions, a market, a doctor, work, renting a flat, a job interview, taarof. Listen to them, then play one side yourself while the app takes the other. FOUR READING PASSAGES Nowruz, a letter from a friend, a short news piece, a folk story — with a glossary you can tap, and audio for every line. WORDS COME BACK BEFORE YOU FORGET THEM A spaced-repetition system tracks every word and every verb separately and brings each one back at the moment it is about to slip. IN YOUR LANGUAGE Kurdish, Arabic or English — the whole app, not just the buttons. Every explanation, every word meaning, every grammar note. Switch any time. No account. No ads. Works offline. Nothing leaves your phone.Read more
