AnySpace: Minimal Launcher

You unlock your phone to check one thing, and the icons do the rest. Every screen-time app you have tried is either another dashboard to read or another nag to dismiss. It keeps failing because it was never about willpower. The triggers live on your home screen. AnySpace takes them off. Your home screen becomes a short list of app names in quiet type, with no icons around them. The widget has no background box and no color-matched slab, so the names float on your wallpaper, whichever wallpaper you choose. WHAT CHANGES • Nothing on your home screen competes for attention. No colorful icons, no badges, only words. • You open what you meant to open. Tap a name and that app launches. • When you need to focus, slide the deadbolt. The bolt clicks home, and the app and the widget show only the first few apps you allowed as usable. The rest are struck through until you slide it back. • See your time saved as something you could have done with it — "enough time to read 23 novels cover to cover" — with each week you locked marked in your record, year by year. ANY APP, STRAIGHT FROM THE WIDGET Touch and hold the widget, tap Edit Widget, and pick any app on your iPhone. Tap its name and it opens directly. Give it a name of your own, like "Music" for Spotify. WHEN A FOCUS TURNS ON (PRO) Add AnySpace as a Focus filter and it locks when that Focus turns on and unlocks when it ends. Lock from Control Center, the Lock Screen or the Action button, too. Before you unlock, two slow breaths give you a moment to decide. SET UP IN A FEW MINUTES Add the widget at full-page size, hide your other home screen pages, clear the dock, and, if you like, save a pure black wallpaper from the app. AnySpace walks you through each step, and there is an illustrated guide on our website.
