About
DracoChess turns learning chess into an RPG quest. Instead of dry drills, you battle a series of increasingly clever monsters — each one teaching a real chess skill along the way, from spotting a hanging piece to finding forced checkmates. Adventure Mode Fight your way from a humble Slime up through Goblins, Skeletons, Orcs, Wraiths, and Wizards, all the way to a Lich and, finally, a Dragon boss. Every monster plays at its own chess strength and has its own personality, so the challenge grows with you — never a wall, never a pushover. Battle System Every match plays out on a real chessboard with full standard chess rules. Captures deal damage shown as classic chess point values (pawn = 1, knight = 3, and so on), checks and checkmates are called out the moment they happen, and a post-game review flags any pieces you left hanging or forks you missed — with a plain-language explanation of what went wrong. Train Skill Lessons & Puzzles covering Piece Safety, Threat Recognition, Forks, Pins, Checkmates, Calculation, Opening Principles, and Endgames Opening Lines: watch a demonstration, then play it back yourself — the Italian Game, Ruy Lopez, Queen's Gambit, Sicilian Defense, French Defense, and Queen's Indian Defense Endgame Techniques: the Rook Ladder Mate, Queen vs. Lone King, and escorting a pawn to promotion Middlegame Patterns: three real, historic combinations — the Greek Gift Sacrifice, Smothered Mate, and the Windmill — reproduced move by move from actual games Play Challenge any monster you've already defeated to a rematch, or hand the device to a friend for a local two-player match — no account, no internet connection required. Built for kids and complete beginners: no ads, no account needed, and your progress stays private on your device.Read more
