Plantry: Plant-Based Grocery

Plantry is a plant-based grocery app, built as a portfolio piece. It is a complete storefront. Two hundred own-label products sit across twenty-one aisles in five departments — pantry, snacks and sweets, drinks, wellness and body care. You can browse a shelf, filter it, search it, open a product, read the label, put it in a basket, apply a promotion code, pick a delivery window and reach a checkout that adds everything up to the cent. What Plantry does not do is deliver anything. No order is dispatched, no payment is taken, and no real delivery is scheduled. The app says this plainly on the checkout screen and again on its About page. It is a demonstration of how the shop would work, not a shop. EVERY PRODUCT IS PLANT-BASED The range is Plantry's own line, and there is nothing of animal origin anywhere in it. Each product's name and description is checked against a list of animal ingredients before it can enter the catalogue, so the claim on the label is the claim in the data. If you choose to, Sign in with Apple is the only method — there is no password to make and no form to fill. Signing in keeps your name and email address on your Rivesa account and nothing else; you can use Apple's Hide My Email, and you can delete the account from Settings at any time. Plantry contains no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers. The app reads its shelves from a read-only endpoint when it opens and falls back to the copy inside the app if that is unavailable.
