Thirty instrumental tracks, around two hours of funky, easy jazz, soul and lounge, sorted into seven rooms for seven kinds of hour. No lyrics to follow, no feed to scroll, no ads. SEVEN ROOMS Focus: head down, volume up. Steady grooves, zero lyrics. Groove Room: organ, clav and a drummer who won't sit still. Night Shift: bass lines and neon for the hours nobody schedules. Rainy Day: soft keys for window seats and wet sneakers. Slow Start: coffee first, then everything. Detox: phone down, vibes up. An hour away from the feed. Sleep: slow piano, no drums, straight to dreamland. CHOOSE BY COVER Every track wears a piece of bold, colourful art from the open-access collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Cleveland Museum of Art and Wikimedia Commons. Swipe the covers, tap the one you like, and that is what plays. Tap the artwork to pause. KEEPS PLAYING Music carries on while you work in another app or with the screen locked, with controls on the lock screen. Prefer it to stop when you leave? Turn off Background play in Settings. YOUR LISTENING Profile shows how many hours you have listened and your streak. Your stats and name stay on your iPhone. ACCOUNTS ARE OPTIONAL Use Salon as a guest, or Sign in with Apple to keep your place across iPhones. You can delete your account at any time from Profile.
