About
The most interesting stories in your family have never been written down. They live in someone else’s memory — and disappear with it. Beamory Yoke turns an ordinary evening conversation with your grandparents or parents into something you can actually see. You ask a question you might never have thought of yourself, then save the answer in your own words. With every answer, a building rises on your screen — floor by floor, window by window, streetlight by streetlight. The further you go, the more clearly you begin to see faces, years, and cities you never knew existed. This isn’t a questionnaire or a diary. It’s a slow archaeology of your own family name. And you’re the only one who can do it. What’s inside - More than a dozen themes to explore: childhood, home, food, holidays, work, neighbors, faith, moving, first love, and things kept for decades - Questions you wouldn’t think to ask — and that, for some reason, the older people in your family have been waiting to hear - A living family map: see who is related to whom, follow the connections between them, and give every person a face drawn just for them - A building that grows with your answers: floors, windows, a courtyard, a workshop, scaffolding, lights glowing inside - A guided sweep for missing pieces: the app notices gaps — a decade with nothing written down, a person mentioned in a single sentence — and shows you where to return - Names and places mentioned in passing are picked up from your writing and suggested as details worth saving separately - A chronicle by decade: everything you collect naturally falls into its place in time - A finished volume: choose a cover, browse chapters and spreads, then save it and share it with anyone in your family - Short sessions: one conversation takes only a few minutes, and something on the screen changes right away It all begins with one question asked tonight. At first, it’s just someone else’s words on a screen. Then come names you begin to recognize. Then streets that no longer exist on any map. At some point, you realize you’re no longer asking questions for the sake of the app. Everything you collect stays with you. You can return to it for years, add to it, and one day pass it on to whoever comes after you. Beamory Yoke won’t tell you where you really come from — it simply gives you a reason to ask. The rest is yours to discover.Read more
