About

Make music with a drawing. Wiggly Music turns a colorful sketch into a repeating musical loop: choose a sound, paint on the canvas, and press Play. As the playhead crosses your marks, they become notes. The height of a stroke shapes pitch, its position shapes timing, and its color selects a voice. You can hear an idea while you draw it, then change the picture to change the music. DRAW, LISTEN, CHANGE Start with a blank sheet or open a saved loop. Pick a color and a brush, draw a line, dot, curve, or pattern, and listen to the result. Try short marks for a sparse rhythm or fill more of the canvas for a busy arrangement. Move a shape higher or lower to explore melody. Use Undo and Redo while experimenting, or erase parts of a drawing and build another version. This is a music maker for hands-on exploration, whether you are doodling for a few minutes or carefully shaping a loop. NINE COLORS, NINE VOICES The palette is also an instrument selector. Draw with Keys, Pluck, Bell, Marimba, Flute, Strings, Chime, Bass, and 8-bit voices. Put different colors at different heights to combine sounds and pitches in the same picture. Change palette colors to make the canvas feel like your own. You can create a light melody, a lively pattern, or a layered musical sketch without placing notes on a traditional timeline. THREE WAYS TO SEE YOUR MUSIC Ink gives you the direct feeling of painting and hearing each stroke. Pixels turns your marks into a playful block-style visual. Stage presents your loop as a scene with visual performers; you can choose photos from your library for its voices. Switch between Ink, Pixels, and Stage as you explore the same musical idea. Each mode offers a different way to look at the sounds you have made. SHAPE THE BEAT Turn Bass, Drums, and Arp accompaniment on or off to add another layer to your drawing. Set the tempo in BPM to make a loop relaxed or energetic. Choose the number of notes per beat and adjust Swing for a different rhythmic feel. A simple change to the beat can make the same picture sound surprisingly different, so it is easy to try variations and find a groove you like. EXPLORE PITCH AND SCALE Choose a key and explore major, minor, pentatonic, blues, chromatic, and other scales. Adjust the range and octave to put the notes where they feel right, or fine-tune the pitch in cents. These controls let you experiment with music theory through sound and color. You can keep a drawing and try different settings, then listen to how a new scale, key, or register changes its character. MAKE THE CANVAS YOURS Choose Paper for a clear canvas, Sky for an open blue scene, or Ocean for a flowing backdrop. You can also select a photo from your library as a custom background. The visual setting sits behind your music, so you can give a loop a different mood while keeping the drawing you made. Sketch a small idea, fill a wide composition, or make a scene that feels personal. SAVE AN IDEA AND COME BACK Your draft is saved on this device as you work. Give a loop a name and keep it in My Loops when you want to return to it. Open a saved project to continue drawing, change its sounds, or try another mode. Your creations stay available for another session without requiring an account to start. SAVE A VIDEO TO PHOTOS When you want a copy of a finished loop, export a video with its music to your photo library. Choose 10, 15, or 20 seconds; 15 seconds is selected by default. The exported video shows the visual music you made, ready for you to watch again or share using your device's own sharing options. Video export is designed for the loop you are editing, so you can make a change and save another take. Wiggly Music is for musical doodles, visual composition, and curious play. You do not need to know music notation to begin. Draw a mark, hear what it does, and follow the sound to your next idea.Read more
