At the heart of the app is a physics-based drying model that tracks every rick you own. Give it your species mix, split size, stack form, cover, base, and exposure, and it calculates the moisture content curve from green to air-dry, pinpointing the date each stack crosses the 20% burn line. Log a reading from your moisture meter at any time and the curve re-anchors from that measured point forward. A fault board flags stacking mistakes that are quietly slowing your drying rate or raising your moisture floor, with specific remedies for each. The Board gives you a season-at-a-glance: twelve heating-year cells showing which ricks come ready when, how much heat each month demands, and whether your supply can meet it. The Budget screen turns your appliance efficiency, season length, and daily burn hours into a live kWh demand figure, then stacks that against the energy held across your whole yard. Burn a rick before it is ready and the app tells you precisely how many kWh you lose to steam in the flue and how much deposit you lay down in the process. The Species Shelf gives you drying rates, heat content, and split behaviour for twelve common firewood species, and the camera-assisted face-framing tool measures stacked volume without a tape measure.
