About

Some choices refuse to sit still. You list the reasons, you sleep on it, and in the morning the same two options are back on the table. Olympe Scales gives them somewhere to rest: a balance with two pans, a beam that tilts, and a record of what you decided and how it turned out. PUT THE QUESTION ON THE BALANCE Name the decision. Name the two options. Then add arguments to either pan, one at a time, in your own words. Nothing is suggested, nothing is filled in for you. The scales only hold what you place on them. GIVE EVERY ARGUMENT ITS WEIGHT Each argument carries a weight from 1 to 5, set with five small stone blocks. Change one and the beam moves at once, on a spring that can be caught mid-swing and sent the other way. One strong reason can outweigh three weak ones, and you see it happen. READ THE VERDICT The verdict names the tilt in plain words: the scales hold even, a slight lean, the weight favours one side, or one option carries the weight outright. It shows the numeric split, the three heaviest arguments on the heavier side and the single heaviest on the lighter one, so the counter-case never disappears from view. The same arguments always give the same verdict. There is no randomness anywhere in the app. THEN DECIDE FOR YOURSELF Both Decide buttons are always available. The scales show where the weight falls; they do not choose. If you go with the lighter pan, the app records it quietly as a decision against the weight and says nothing more. Sometimes that is exactly the right call. COME BACK TO IT When you commit, you can ask to be checked on in one, three or six months. There are no notifications and no permission prompts. The next time you open the app after that date, a card on the home screen asks how it went, and you answer in a tap. SEE HOW YOU DECIDE The Marble screen keeps a short, honest tally: decisions weighed, decisions committed, decisions still open, how often you followed the weight and how often you went against it. For decisions with a recorded outcome, it shows how each kind held up. No badges, no streaks. Just your own history, plainly counted. WHAT STAYS OUT No account. No sign-up. No subscription or in-app purchase. No adverts, no analytics, no third-party code. The app makes no network requests at all. Your decisions live on your iPhone, go with your device backup, and can be erased in one place in Settings. Drawn in marble, gold and cloud, with a classical portico for the empty scales and a beam that breathes when left alone. Light and dark appearance, Dynamic Type, and Reduce Motion are all respected.Read more
