Buffil Wave

Buffil Wave is the professional farriery bench companion for every shoeing cycle. Place nine landmark pins on a hoof photo and the app computes every critical angle and length instantly — hoof-pastern axis, heel angle, toe length, breakover, and medial-lateral balance — with no manual arithmetic. The Gauge instrument works in both lateral and solar projection. A calibrated scale converts pixel distances to millimetres, a live readout rail updates all figures as you drag, and a deterministic verdict engine classifies the foot against duty-specific target bands the moment you commit a reading. The Trim screen translates those measurements into a per-zone removal map — millimetres at the toe, quarters, heels, and breakover — and steps you through Pull, Trim, Shape, Nail, and Finish with the exact tools required at each stage. The Wave register tracks wall growth rate and breakover drift across every cycle, plotting whether each foot is trending inside or outside its band. Browse and fit nine illustrated shoe patterns — from plain stamped to heart bar — and six pad types from the Rack, then consult the built-in faults atlas covering nine named conditions: broken-back axis, under-run heel, sheared heels, club foot, and more. Each fault entry carries its geometric signature, effect on the limb, treatment route, watchpoints, and recommended shoe patterns. Buffil Wave is fully offline. No account is required, no subscription is needed, and no data ever leaves the device. Export a complete shoeing ticket to your photo library as a permanent record at the end of every cycle.
