Five real cities. A handful of clues that are all true. Exactly one order that satisfies them. Ranklet gives you one deduction puzzle a day. Rank the cities by area, population, latitude or another real attribute — and there is never anything to guess. The clues are generated so that a single ordering works, which means if it will not come out, there is a clue you have not used yet. Solve it and the real figures open up. Usually one of them is not what you expected. Tap a city to place it, or drag a row to move it. Work out which city cannot be first, then which cannot be second, and the order falls out. You get three tries. REAL DATA, NOT TRIVIA The cities and their numbers come from Wikidata, used under CC0. Ranklet is a game rather than a reference work — the data is community-maintained and definitions vary — but the comparisons you are given are drawn straight from it. WORKS OFFLINE Puzzles download several days ahead, so a day already on your phone plays with no connection at all. A new one is published at midnight UTC. RANKLET PLUS An optional subscription that adds unlimited practice puzzles and lets you choose their difficulty. The daily puzzle and the full archive stay free whether you subscribe or not. - Monthly: $2.99 per month - Yearly: $14.99 per year Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
