SEPTIMUS

SEPTIMUS is a touch and gesture instrument for iPhone. Play chords directly on the screen, or enable the camera to guide the chord rings with your right hand. Use your left hand for chord changes, octave control, and volume. • Choose independent instruments for the inner and outer chord rings. • Double-tap a chord block to change its note and chord type. • Hold and drag a block to arrange the rings your way. • Add hall reverb and distortion with touch-friendly percentage controls. • Build loop layers and play with automatic drums and bass. • Set a precise tempo and practise with the metronome. • Paste your own chord chart and rehearsal text into the song prompter. • Record the instrument’s output and export a WAV file through the iPhone share sheet. Camera access is optional. Hand tracking runs on your device. SEPTIMUS records its generated music, not your microphone or camera video. No account is required. For gesture playing, keep your hands and fingertips in view with even lighting. In Instrument audio mode, turn off iPhone Silent mode. Save recordings you want to keep before closing the app: takes and loops are kept in the current session until exported.
