About
Driving to Europe in your own car? The rules are not the problem. Finding out which of them apply to YOUR car is. Tell the app what you drive and where you are going. It turns that into one list: what you must carry, what you must buy before you leave, and which city zones your car is not allowed into. WHAT YOU GET, FREE • Every requirement that applies to your vehicle and route, in one checklist • Ten countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland • 456 restricted-zone boundaries on an offline map - low-emission zones, Italian ZTLs, congestion charges • Everything required or banned on the road in each country WITH FULL ACCESS, ONE PAYMENT • The detail behind every item: what it means for your car, what it costs, and a link to the official site to buy it • Tick things off as you pack • Warnings while you drive, before you reach a restricted zone BUILT TO BE HONEST Most of this information exists somewhere. What is hard is trusting it. So: • Every rule shows the official source it came from and the date it was last checked against that source • Zone boundaries say whether they came from the city's own published data or were mapped by the OpenStreetMap community • Where the app does not know something, it says so. A place with no zone shown is a place with no data — not a place with no restrictions • The app can be wrong. Rules change without notice. Check anything you must buy or carry against the official source before you travel WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL Rules, zones and warnings are all on your phone. Only the street map behind the boundaries needs a connection. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No analytics. No tracking. Your location is compared against zone boundaries on your phone and is never sent anywhere — there is no server to send it to. NOT A SATNAV This is not turn-by-turn navigation. It is the thing you check before you set off, and the thing that taps you on the shoulder before you drive into a restricted zone.Read more
Driving to Europe in your own car? The rules are not the problem. Finding out
which of them apply to YOUR car is.
Tell the app what you drive and where you are going. It turns that into one
list: what you must carry, what you must buy before you leave, and which city
zones your car is not allowed into.
WHAT YOU GET, FREE
• Every requirement that applies to your vehicle and route, in one checklist
• Ten countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the
Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland
• 456 restricted-zone boundaries on an offline map - low-emission zones,
Italian ZTLs, congestion charges
• Everything required or banned on the road in each country
WITH FULL ACCESS, ONE PAYMENT
• The detail behind every item: what it means for your car, what it costs,
and a link to the official site to buy it
• Tick things off as you pack
• Warnings while you drive, before you reach a restricted zone
BUILT TO BE HONEST
Most of this information exists somewhere. What is hard is trusting it. So:
• Every rule shows the official source it came from and the date it was last
checked against that source
• Zone boundaries say whether they came from the city's own published data or
were mapped by the OpenStreetMap community
• Where the app does not know something, it says so. A place with no zone
shown is a place with no data — not a place with no restrictions
• The app can be wrong. Rules change without notice. Check anything you must
buy or carry against the official source before you travel
WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
Rules, zones and warnings are all on your phone. Only the street map behind
the boundaries needs a connection.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No analytics. No tracking. Your location is compared against zone
boundaries on your phone and is never sent anywhere — there is no server to
send it to.
NOT A SATNAV
This is not turn-by-turn navigation. It is the thing you check before you set
off, and the thing that taps you on the shoulder before you drive into a
restricted zone.

Driving in Europe now works whichever country your car is registered in, not just the UK. - Tell the app where your car is registered and the checklist follows: the registration certificate, licence and insurance rules that apply to you, and a country identifier only if your plate does not already carry one. - Headlamp advice for right-hand-drive cars from the UK, Ireland, Malta and Cyprus: required in the Netherlands, recommended elsewhere. - The zone map is now Apple Maps: quicker to load, and it opens where you are. - Fixed: the number pad would not go away after typing a gross weight.
