About
UptimeScout is a native status board for developers and small teams. It runs HTTP(S), TCP, DNS and SSL certificate checks on your iPhone, iPad and Mac, brings in the monitors you already have in other services, and shows everything in one board, in the menu bar and in widgets. No account, no server to run, and no tracking. CHECKS ON YOUR DEVICES • HTTP(S): expected status codes (200, 200-299 or 2xx), optional keyword in the page, GET or HEAD • TCP: time to connect to any host and port • DNS: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX and TXT records, with an optional expected value • SSL certificates: expiry date, issuer, subject and whether the chain is trusted • Paste an address and UptimeScout picks the check type; https addresses can watch the certificate too • On a Mac, checks run while it is awake. UptimeScout does not check your services while the Mac is asleep or turned off. • On iPhone and iPad, checks run while UptimeScout is open and, when iOS allows, from time to time in the background, so alerts can arrive late. For checks around the clock, run them on a Mac. ALERTS THAT MEAN SOMETHING • Native notifications when a monitor goes down and when it recovers • An incident opens only after the number of consecutive failures you choose, so one blip doesn't wake you • A timeline of incidents with start time, duration and cause IN THE MENU BAR • The icon changes shape with the worst current status • Click for a compact list, Check All and Add Monitor CONNECT THE MONITORS YOU ALREADY RUN UptimeScout reads monitors from Uptime Kuma (metrics endpoint or public status page), UptimeRobot, Better Stack and Cronitor using a read-only API key. The key is stored in your device's Keychain and sent only to the service you connected. ON IPHONE AND IPAD • Add and run checks right on the device, no Mac needed, or hand a check to your Mac • One board with your checks, your connected services and the checks from your other devices, synced through your private iCloud database • Tabs for Board, Incidents, Sources and Settings UptimeScout PRO • Unlimited monitors and sources • Checks as often as every 15 seconds • SSL expiry alerts at 30, 14, 7 and 1 days • Response-time charts for 24 hours and 7 days • 90 days of incident history • Home Screen, desktop and Lock Screen widgets • Focus filter for alerts • Shortcuts and Siri: "Is my site up?" • Maintenance windows • Export incidents as CSV The free plan includes 3 local monitors with checks every 60 seconds or longer, menu bar status, notifications, one connected source per device and the iPhone and iPad board. Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription with a free trial, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. PRIVATE BY DESIGN UptimeScout collects no data. There are no analytics and no third-party SDKs. Your monitors stay on your devices and, if you turn on sync, in your own iCloud account. You can export your data or erase everything from Settings. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings.
