About
Delphax Brikro puts you in the role of a forensic document analyst. When a contested will surfaces, an anonymous note appears at a crime scene, or a forged signature is challenged in court, the answer lies in the ink — and the ink does not lie. Choose from six solvents, set your run distance and spot volume, then watch the separation unfold in real time. Every dye in the questioned sample migrates at its own retention factor, forming distinct bands along the chromatography strip. Bands too close in polarity merge into a single unresolvable blob — just as they would in a real laboratory. Drag the caliper to each band, read its Rf value, cross-reference your library of 24 named dyes, and submit your composition verdict. A clean solve on the first run with no hints earns an A. Every extra run or hint taken costs you. Eighteen cases fill your casebook across three tiers of rising complexity. Tier 1 asks you to identify a simple two-component ink from a ballpoint pen. By Tier 3 you are disentangling five-dye blends where a pair of components nearly co-elute, and running a match analysis to determine which of four suspect pens produced a questioned document — where the deciding difference is a single trace pigment at low proportion. The physics-grounded simulation uses real retention-factor math and Gaussian band broadening, so the technique you develop carries from case to case. Your notebook archives every strip you have run, lets you attach field-evidence photos from the camera or gallery, and charts your Rf distribution over time. The blend workshop lets you formulate and save custom ink recipes to use as practice samples. No ads. No accounts. No network required after launch.Read more
