About
You never open a separate app just to log a meal. Starpin turns the photo you already take into a visit record. Hit the shutter, pick the place, and save the visit. Leave the stars later if you want. How it works 1. When the food arrives, shoot with the in-app camera. Multiple shots still count as one visit. 2. Nearby restaurants are suggested on the map. Pick one and you are done. 3. Near the end of the meal, a reminder arrives. Rate then—or rate right away. ■ You do not have to rate first You cannot rate a place before you eat. So Starpin never requires stars at save time. By default a reminder asks “How was that place? after 60 minutes. Choose 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 minutes, or turn reminders off. Unrated visits are collected in the app for you. ■ Stars also save to the Photos app On iOS 27+, Starpin’s star rating writes to the Photos app. Give four stars in Starpin and those visit photos get four stars too. Even if you stop using Starpin, the ratings stay in your photo library. ■ Going back still keeps the old record A return visit is a new visit. Right after you shoot, you see what you rated last time. Per place you can see recent rating, average, and visit count. Taste changes and place changes stay in the history. Bad places are worth logging too A one-star place can become a “never go” share card for friends—name, stars, a one-line note, and a map link in one image. Import photos you already took Pick from your library and we suggest places from the photo’s location. Useful for shots you forgot to save, or trip photos to tidy later. ■ Highlights · In-app camera → visit record · Apple Maps nearby suggestions, search, and manual entry · Post-meal rating reminders (30 / 60 / 90 / 120 min, or off) · iOS 27 Photos star ratings Map and list of places you ate · Per-place visit history with stars and notes · Visit card image sharing · Library import (place suggestions from photo location) ■ Privacy No account.
