About
Were you right to complain, or were you the Karen? Everyone has a moment they replay later. The cold food, the slow driver, the call centre on hold for forty minutes. Sometimes you were right. Sometimes you were the clip. Karen Counselor tells you which, honestly and kindly, before someone films it. TWO VERDICTS, NOT ONE Being right and behaving well are two different questions, so the app scores them separately: • Complaint strength: was it worth complaining about? • The Karen Meter: was your reaction proportionate? Together they give one of four verdicts. Fair Complaint. Right, But You Karen'd It. Honest Misunderstanding. Full Karen. The cold soup was real. The waiter still didn't deserve it. HOW IT WORKS Pick what happened: a restaurant, the road, a hotel, customer service, a shop, an airport, neighbours, parking, the school gate, a garage, a post online, or anything else. Answer with facts: what it really cost you, who you spoke to, what you actually did, how loud it got. Facts that are hard to spin, never opinions about the other person. Get your verdict: both scores, your viral risk, what was really going on, and what actually works next time. IT NOTICES WHEN YOUR STORY DOESN'T ADD UP The app only hears your side, so it doesn't just take your word for it. It compares your answers with each other and with how you described yourself, and it says so when they don't match. It notices the good moments too. THE CAMERA TEST One question sits at the heart of the app: imagine the whole thing was filmed and posted online. How would you feel watching it? Your Viral Risk goes from "Nobody's filming" to "Trending for the wrong reasons". IT'S HAPPENING RIGHT NOW About to lose it at the counter, or about to send that email or post that review? Live mode helps you in the moment: • Calm down with a breathing pause that uses what works for you • Feel understood: hungry, late, tired, or talking to someone who can't fix it • Fix it the smart way: say it, pause first, or walk away, with the exact words to use and what to avoid It always asks first whether you're safe. If you're driving, it tells you to put the phone down. If someone is threatening you or has hurt you, it tells you to get somewhere safe and call the police. That safety check is free for everyone. SPEAKING UP IS NEVER KAREN Safety, harassment, an ignored allergy, discrimination backed by facts: your complaint counts as fully justified, every time. Only how you raised it is still scored. KIND, SO YOU STAY HONEST The verdict can be funny. The advice never is. You get the trigger behind the reaction, a five-step ladder of what actually works for your kind of incident, and, if it was recent, the words for a short, sincere apology. SHARE IT Every verdict becomes a card for Instagram, WhatsApp or the group chat: "The Restaurant Incident... Right, But You Karen'd It", with your Karen Meter. It shows the kind of incident and the verdict. Never the place, the people, or the story. YOUR PATTERNS Your usual trigger when it goes wrong, where it happens most, how your live moments went, and how your self-image compares with what you actually did. A BEHAVIOUR, NOT A PERSON Anyone can have a Karen moment, whatever their name, gender or age. The app judges only what you did in one moment. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-in, no cloud • Everything stays on your phone, and works in airplane mode • No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no third parties The app never asks for names, places or descriptions of what happened. Only your answers to its questions. SIMPLE, HONEST PRICING Your first verdict is free, and so is the safety check. Unlock every incident, live mode, and your patterns with a single payment. No subscription, ever. A NOTE Karen Counselor reflects the story you tell it. It cannot know the other side, and it is not legal, medical, or psychological advice.
TWO VERDICTS, NOT ONE
Being right and behaving well are two different questions, so the app scores them separately:
• Complaint strength: was it worth complaining about?
• The Karen Meter: was your reaction proportionate?
Together they give one of four verdicts. Fair Complaint. Right, But You Karen'd It. Honest Misunderstanding. Full Karen. The cold soup was real. The waiter still didn't deserve it.
HOW IT WORKS
Pick what happened: a restaurant, the road, a hotel, customer service, a shop, an airport, neighbours, parking, the school gate, a garage, a post online, or anything else.
Answer with facts: what it really cost you, who you spoke to, what you actually did, how loud it got. Facts that are hard to spin, never opinions about the other person.
Get your verdict: both scores, your viral risk, what was really going on, and what actually works next time.
IT NOTICES WHEN YOUR STORY DOESN'T ADD UP
The app only hears your side, so it doesn't just take your word for it. It compares your answers with each other and with how you described yourself, and it says so when they don't match. It notices the good moments too.
THE CAMERA TEST
One question sits at the heart of the app: imagine the whole thing was filmed and posted online. How would you feel watching it? Your Viral Risk goes from "Nobody's filming" to "Trending for the wrong reasons".
IT'S HAPPENING RIGHT NOW
About to lose it at the counter, or about to send that email or post that review? Live mode helps you in the moment:
• Calm down with a breathing pause that uses what works for you
• Feel understood: hungry, late, tired, or talking to someone who can't fix it
• Fix it the smart way: say it, pause first, or walk away, with the exact words to use and what to avoid
It always asks first whether you're safe. If you're driving, it tells you to put the phone down. If someone is threatening you or has hurt you, it tells you to get somewhere safe and call the police. That safety check is free for everyone.
SPEAKING UP IS NEVER KAREN
Safety, harassment, an ignored allergy, discrimination backed by facts: your complaint counts as fully justified, every time. Only how you raised it is still scored.
KIND, SO YOU STAY HONEST
The verdict can be funny. The advice never is. You get the trigger behind the reaction, a five-step ladder of what actually works for your kind of incident, and, if it was recent, the words for a short, sincere apology.
SHARE IT
Every verdict becomes a card for Instagram, WhatsApp or the group chat: "The Restaurant Incident... Right, But You Karen'd It", with your Karen Meter. It shows the kind of incident and the verdict. Never the place, the people, or the story.
YOUR PATTERNS
Your usual trigger when it goes wrong, where it happens most, how your live moments went, and how your self-image compares with what you actually did.
A BEHAVIOUR, NOT A PERSON
Anyone can have a Karen moment, whatever their name, gender or age. The app judges only what you did in one moment.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no sign-in, no cloud
• Everything stays on your phone, and works in airplane mode
• No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no third parties
The app never asks for names, places or descriptions of what happened. Only your answers to its questions.
SIMPLE, HONEST PRICING
Your first verdict is free, and so is the safety check. Unlock every incident, live mode, and your patterns with a single payment. No subscription, ever.
A NOTE
Karen Counselor reflects the story you tell it. It cannot know the other side, and it is not legal, medical, or psychological advice. If someone is in danger, contact emergency services.
Check yourself before someone films you.
