About
FishTix replaces the paper fish ticket and the thumb drive on Alaska salmon tenders. One ticket, three writers: the fisherman fills in the trip on the way in, the tender enters the weights, both sign on their own screens, and the cannery office files with the State of Alaska's eLandings system. FOR FISHERMEN • Your permits, boat, gear and fishery on file. A delivery is a few taps: pick the area, the chill type and the tender, and say you're coming in. • See which side of the tender to tie up on and follow the weighing as it happens. • Sign on your own phone. Every ticket and its PDF is on your phone for the season, with the totals per tender and per week. FOR TENDERS • A deck board of the boats coming in and the boats alongside. • Weigh lift by lift on a keypad built for gloves. Bag counts, tare and totals are automatic, and the running tally is always on screen. • Quality checks the cannery asks for, fish temperatures and brailer criteria, recorded as you go. • Works with no signal. Everything syncs when the Starlink is back. FOR CANNERIES • Every tender under contract, live, in the office web app at office.fishtix.app. • Tickets file to eLandings on their own. Rejections come back with the State's message and a resend. • Corrections are transparent: a change to a weight shows what it did to the delivery total, with a reason, and the office sees it. BUILT AS A LEGAL RECORD Field names and code tables come straight from eLandings, so nothing is invented. Every signature carries a hash of what was signed, the time, the device and the place. Closed tickets never change; a correction is a new version with a reason. Until ADF&G formally accepts electronic signatures, the app prints a ticket for wet signatures too. FishTix is in pilot with Bristol Bay tenders and canneries. It requires an account: fishermen sign up in the app, tender crews are invited by their skipper, and cannery staff by their office.
