Pausely: Pause Home Visits

Pausely is for anyone with regular help at home: a cleaner, a gardener, a dog walker, a pet sitter. There's no app for them and no booking system — just an arrangement and a phone number. So when you're going away, it's on you to text everyone. And then to remember whether you actually did. One place for everyone who comes to the house. Pausely writes the message, you send it, and remembers that you did. ONE TAP, ONE MESSAGE Tap a helper, pick the dates, and Pausely fills in a clear, friendly text: which visits you're skipping, and a request to reply and confirm. Messages opens with it ready. You read it, change anything you like, and send. Your dashboard then shows who's paused and who's coming, so "did I tell her?" has an answer. THEY DON'T NEED THE APP There's nothing for them to install, join or tap. It's an ordinary text from your number, and they reply the way they always do. Pausely works even if they never hear of it. MESSAGES OR WHATSAPP Some helpers you text, some you WhatsApp. Choose per person and Pausely opens the right app with the message ready. Either way it goes through your own account — no service in the middle, no per-message cost, no subscription for sending. IN YOUR WORDS Friendly, brief, warm or formal — or write your own wording and Pausely will use it every time, with the names and dates filled in. You can set a different tone for a particular helper, and you can still edit any message before it goes. WHAT PAUSELY CAN'T DO It can't see replies. iOS never gives apps access to your messages, so no app can tell you whether a text was delivered or read — including this one. When someone replies, you tap "They replied", and Pausely records that you marked it. We'd rather say that plainly than show you a tick that means nothing. GOING AWAY? (PAUSELY PRO) Pro spots trips in a calendar you choose and reminds you before you go, while there's still time to tell everyone — then walks you through pausing them, one message at a time. You pick which calendars it reads; it starts with none ticked, and most people choose just Holidays or Travel. It reads event names and dates, keeps only the trips it finds, and always shows which event it matched. Nothing is ever sent without you. STAYS ON YOUR IPHONE No account. No server. No analytics. No tracking. No ads. Your helpers, their numbers and your history are on your device and nowhere else. Delete the app and it's all gone. FREE AND PRO Free: two helpers, unlimited pauses, weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits. Pro: unlimited helpers, trip detection and reminders, for a one-off £2.99. Not a subscription. Nothing renews.
