About
Nobody keeps score at home. Everybody keeps score at home. "I do everything around here." "Are you kidding, I'm the one up at 3am." Neither of you is lying: we remember our own effort perfectly and the other person's barely at all. Fair Share replaces the feeling with minutes. Each of you logs the time spent on the baby, meals, cleaning, dishes, errands. The scales on the home screen tip live towards whoever is carrying more. No blame, no spreadsheet — one number you both can see. LOGGING TAKES TWO SECONDS • Timer: start it, get on with it, stop it • Quick add: one tap on "Dishes" logs your usual duration • Manual entry: "1 hour with the baby, last night" • Voice: say "35 minutes of dishes" and the app fills it in for you • Widget: shortcuts right on your Home Screen, no app needed THE SCALES TODAY, THE TREND OVER TIME One evening proves nothing. A month does. Fair Share shows the gap over 7 days, the month and the year, broken down by category: who carries the baby, who carries the kitchen, where the imbalance actually lives. Every entry stays in the journal, editable any time. FOR TWO, OR FOR FIVE As a couple, you get the scales. As flatmates or a family, the home screen switches to a leaderboard, up to 5 people. Everyone picks their own name and colour. ONE PURCHASE, FOR THE WHOLE HOUSEHOLD Solo tracking is free and unlimited. To share a household and see each other's entries live: 4.99 once, forever. One person pays, everyone else joins for free. No subscription, ever. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Everything syncs through your own private iCloud. No account to create, no server of ours, no ads, nothing sold. What you log never leaves the household. Fair Share will never tell you who's right. It just tells you how many minutes.Read more

Animation throughout The minutes you log now fly to the balance, which tips as they land. A lead changing hands or the scores drawing level gets announced, the statistics animate when you switch period, and screens slide instead of swapping. A living introduction All four welcome screens are animated: the balance assembles and leans, the stopwatch genuinely runs, the statistics fill in, and the widget, Dynamic Island and Lock Screen each show what they do. Fixes • A stopwatch you had stopped kept counting on the other person's phone. • Creating a household kept asking for another name. It st…
