About
Snapjudge is a photography coach that lives on your iPhone. Shoot a frame with the live viewfinder or pick one from your library. Snapjudge reads the image and the camera data behind it, scores it out of 100 across eight criteria, and writes a short critique in the voice of a teacher who wants you to get better, not a judge who wants you to feel small. Every critique ends with something concrete to try next time. WHAT IT LOOKS AT Composition, subject, light, exposure, focus, colour, moment and edit restraint. For phone photos it leads with composition and subject, because the camera already handled the settings. TUNE THE CRITIC Choose a persona and how direct you want it to be, from Gentle to Demanding. The warmth stays; the directness changes. PRACTISE WHAT YOU MISS Paths turns your recurring weak spots into challenges and drills. Arm a challenge, shoot it, and see whether the score moves. The You tab keeps your trend and streak. EDIT WITH RESTRAINT Eight tools and a handful of presets, with a restraint meter that tells you when you have gone too far. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No upload. No analytics. Photos, critiques and settings stay on your phone. Captures are also saved to your Photos library so you always keep the original. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or later) the critique text comes from Apple's on-device model; other iPhones use Snapjudge's built-in critic, with the same scores in simpler wording. Requires iOS 27 or later.Read more
