About
Catalyst publishes crypto market commentary on a fixed schedule — and keeps the receipts. THREE BOARDS, FIVE PICKS EACH A daily board every day. A weekly board every Monday. A monthly board on the 1st. Each one names five ideas, long or short, with a specific catalyst behind every single one. A REASON, NOT A VIBE Every pick has to point at something checkable: a token unlock, an exchange listing, a protocol upgrade, an ETF flow, a regulatory decision. Each one also names the risk that would make it wrong. "Momentum looks good" is not accepted. GRADED AGAINST BITCOIN Most altcoins move with Bitcoin. On a day Bitcoin rises 4%, a coin that rises 3% has cost you money versus simply holding Bitcoin — so Catalyst records it as a loss. Every pick shows both numbers: the raw return, and the return after subtracting what Bitcoin did over the same window. It makes the record look worse. It is the honest number. NOTHING IS HIDDEN Every graded pick goes into the Record tab and stays there, winners and losers alike. You can check any of it against any chart. If the record is bad, you will see that it is bad. BUILD YOUR OWN RECORD Tail any pick and it goes into your personal record, scored the same way from the price at the moment you tailed it. Tailing closes shortly after a board publishes, so you cannot wait to see which picks are already working — that is the whole point of keeping it honest. Tailing is scorekeeping. It buys nothing. ALSO INSIDE • News — public headlines from CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, Decrypt, The Block and CryptoSlate • Learn — plain-English explanations of unlocks, market cap, beta to Bitcoin, and how the grading works WHAT CATALYST IS NOT Catalyst cannot place trades. It connects to no exchange, no broker, no wallet and no payment system. It moves no money. It has no account and no sign-in, and it collects no personal data — your tailed picks never leave your device. Nothing is personalised. Every user sees identical commentary, published on a schedule. IMPORTANT Catalyst publishes general market commentary. It is not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and it is not personalised to you. Past performance does not predict future results. Crypto assets are highly volatile and you can lose some or all of the money you put at risk. Always do your own research. Market data powered by CoinGecko.Read more
