Workera Shift

Workera Shift is the app for workers placed on jobs by a staffing agency. Clock in and out at the job site, take your breaks, and see your hours as they reach the office. Your account comes from your agency. You cannot sign up inside the app: your agency invites you with your email address, and you sign in with that address. If you have not been invited, ask your agency to add you. CLOCK IN WITH A FACE CHECK Tap Clock In and the front camera confirms it is you. The app asks for your consent before the first scan, and your first scan sets up your face. The scan photo is used for the check and is not kept; only a face template is stored so later scans can be matched. Coming back from a break takes a quick scan too. ONE LOCATION POINT PER PUNCH With your permission, the app records one location point when you clock in, start or end a break, and clock out. It does not follow you between punches and does not use location in the background. Your manager sees the point recorded at each punch, not a route. BREAKS THAT PAUSE YOUR TIME Take a Break pauses your worked time until you tap Back to Work. The app reminds you 5 minutes before your break ends, suggests a break after 4.5 hours on the clock, and nudges you after 9 hours so your shift is not left open. YOUR SHIFT ON THE LOCK SCREEN While you are clocked in, a Live Activity on the Lock Screen, and in the Dynamic Island on iPhones that have it, shows the client, your worked time and when your break ends. A quiet status in Notification Center shows when your shift started. SEE YOUR HOURS See your hours for today and for the current pay period, plus your recent shifts and where each one stands: waiting for approval, approved or rejected. Forgot to clock in? Add the missing time with a reason and it goes to your manager for approval, marked as entered by hand. If you work at more than one client, pick the assignment before you clock in. WORKS WITH A WEAK SIGNAL No connection on site? Your punch is saved on the phone at the time you made it, and sent once you are online with the app open. TIME OFF AND EXPENSES Request vacation, sick, personal or unpaid days and see your agency's answer in the app. Claim money you spent on the job, such as travel, meals, supplies or equipment, and attach a photo of the receipt. YOUR ACCOUNT Update your name and phone number, change your sign-in email with a confirmation code, and confirm the email address your agency sends your Interac e-Transfer pay to. Use the app in English or Spanish, reach support from the Account tab, and delete your account there if you ever need to. SIGN IN YOUR WAY Sign in with Apple, with Google, with a one-time code sent to your email, or with a password. PRIVACY Your shift records are seen by managers at your own agency and by no other agency. The app has no ads and no tracking.
