About
Boba Stock is inventory for drinks shops, built around the two questions that actually matter behind a counter: what is running out, and what should I order? COUNT WITHOUT THE CLIPBOARD Count one storage area at a time, in the order you walk it. Scan a barcode to jump straight to an item. Counting keeps working with no signal. Changes are saved on the phone and sync when you reconnect, and a bar at the top always tells you how many are still waiting, so nobody discovers at the end of a count that nothing was saving. KNOW WHAT IS LOW BEFORE IT IS OUT Set a par level for each item, the level you never want to drop below, and the stock list sorts itself by what needs attention. Out, critical, low, fine. AN ORDER SHEET THAT BUILDS ITSELF Everything under par, grouped by supplier, rounded up to your order multiple, with a rough total. Send it as a text message to the suppliers who take orders that way, or as a proper PDF purchase order for the ones who want something to file: shop name, date, contact, quantities, on hand against par, and a total. A REMINDER ON YOUR ORDER DAY Set the day you order from each supplier and get a notification that morning. It tells you whose order day it is and nothing more: a count worked out a week in advance would be wrong by the time it reached you, so the live number waits in the app. RECIPES THAT DEDUCT AS YOU SELL Tell Boba Stock what goes into each drink and connect your point of sale, and sales deduct ingredients automatically. Sixty grams of pearls per large milk tea, thirty millilitres of syrup, one cup, sold four hundred times this week and deducted from the shelf without anyone typing a number. THE NUMBER THIS IS ALL FOR Compare what your recipes say you used against what the shelf says you used. The gap is shrinkage, and it is the one figure a busy shop almost never has. BUILT TO REFUSE RATHER THAN GUESS Inventory software fails quietly. A wrong ingredient conversion produces a plausible number forever and nobody notices. Boba Stock will not guess: a drink with one unconvertible ingredient is skipped whole and reported, an unmatched sale waits for a human instead of being attached to a similar-sounding drink, and every run tells you exactly what it did not do. A gap shows up as a number, not as quietly wrong stock. FOR THE WHOLE SHIFT Invite staff with a short code. Staff can count, scan and record waste. Managers can change the catalog, recipes and par levels. Owners handle people and the point-of-sale connection. A WALKTHROUGH THAT CHECKS ITSELF Help shows only the lessons your role can actually act on, and the setup ones confirm themselves against your own shop: "8 of 9 items have a par level", not a tick you awarded yourself. Add forty items with no par levels and it says so again. Requires a free Supabase project for your shop's data. Point-of-sale import currently supports Square and is entirely optional: everything else works without it.Read more
Boba Stock is inventory for drinks shops, built around the two questions that
actually matter behind a counter: what is running out, and what should I order?
COUNT WITHOUT THE CLIPBOARD
Count one storage area at a time, in the order you walk it. Scan a barcode to
jump straight to an item. Counting keeps working with no signal. Changes are
saved on the phone and sync when you reconnect, and a bar at the top always
tells you how many are still waiting, so nobody discovers at the end of a count
that nothing was saving.
KNOW WHAT IS LOW BEFORE IT IS OUT
Set a par level for each item, the level you never want to drop below, and the
stock list sorts itself by what needs attention. Out, critical, low, fine.
AN ORDER SHEET THAT BUILDS ITSELF
Everything under par, grouped by supplier, rounded up to your order multiple,
with a rough total. Send it as a text message to the suppliers who take orders
that way, or as a proper PDF purchase order for the ones who want something to
file: shop name, date, contact, quantities, on hand against par, and a total.
A REMINDER ON YOUR ORDER DAY
Set the day you order from each supplier and get a notification that morning.
It tells you whose order day it is and nothing more: a count worked out a week
in advance would be wrong by the time it reached you, so the live number waits
in the app.
RECIPES THAT DEDUCT AS YOU SELL
Tell Boba Stock what goes into each drink and connect your point of sale, and
sales deduct ingredients automatically. Sixty grams of pearls per large milk
tea, thirty millilitres of syrup, one cup, sold four hundred times this week and
deducted from the shelf without anyone typing a number.
THE NUMBER THIS IS ALL FOR
Compare what your recipes say you used against what the shelf says you used.
The gap is shrinkage, and it is the one figure a busy shop almost never has.
BUILT TO REFUSE RATHER THAN GUESS
Inventory software fails quietly. A wrong ingredient conversion produces a
plausible number forever and nobody notices. Boba Stock will not guess: a drink
with one unconvertible ingredient is skipped whole and reported, an unmatched
sale waits for a human instead of being attached to a similar-sounding drink,
and every run tells you exactly what it did not do. A gap shows up as a number,
not as quietly wrong stock.
FOR THE WHOLE SHIFT
Invite staff with a short code. Staff can count, scan and record waste. Managers
can change the catalog, recipes and par levels. Owners handle people and the
point-of-sale connection.
A WALKTHROUGH THAT CHECKS ITSELF
Help shows only the lessons your role can actually act on, and the setup ones
confirm themselves against your own shop: "8 of 9 items have a par level", not a
tick you awarded yourself. Add forty items with no par levels and it says so
again.
Requires a free Supabase project for your shop's data. Point-of-sale import
currently supports Square and is entirely optional: everything else works
without it.
