Phloem: Paper Reader

Make room for a good paper. Phloem turns your iPad into a quiet reading desk for PDFs. Warm paper tones, pages you can turn, and a guide you can move make it easier to settle into the passage in front of you. THE FEEL OF PAPER Read in Book mode and turn the page at your own pace. Use facing pages in a wide view, or switch to a scrolling layout. Choose the paper appearance that feels comfortable to you. A GUIDE FOR WANDERING EYES Move the reading guide along a line or column while the surrounding page dims. Adjust its size, color and dimness to suit the paper. Enter Zen mode when you want more room for the page. NOTES BESIDE THE THOUGHT Highlight a passage, keep notes beside the paper, and return to the ideas you marked. Search within a PDF and keep your reading material together in a local library. YOUR READING SPACE ON YOUR IPAD Import PDFs from Files and read them offline. No account is needed for reading. The included Field Guide gives you a paper to start with. BACK UP THROUGH FILES Save a complete library backup containing your original documents, highlights, notes and review comments. Restore it as separate copies while keeping the papers already in your library. You choose where to save or share the archive using the iPad share sheet. A FEW PRACTICAL DETAILS Your library is stored within this app on your iPad.
