Richy Learning

Richy Learning is a visual, spoken and adaptive learning app designed to support communication, understanding and answering questions for autistic learners, people with learning disabilities, and others who benefit from visual learning support. Richy combines clear pictures, spoken questions and interactive practice to help learners understand what is being asked, choose or say an answer, and build skills at their own pace. Learners can respond by tapping a picture or speaking their answer, making Richy suitable for different communication preferences and abilities. A short baseline placement helps identify a sensible starting point across different skill areas. Richy then adapts practice over time based on the learner’s responses and progress rather than placing the learner at one fixed overall level. Practice includes areas such as: * Everyday objects and vocabulary * Who, What and Where questions * Object functions * Prepositions * Same and Different * Prediction * Visual inference * Story sequencing * Problem and solution * Explaining and describing Parents and carers can view progress and see which areas may need more practice, helping them better understand the learner’s developing strengths.
