About
A passport, a lease, a scan someone asked you to send, the router password, the API key nobody should paste into chat. Click Lock is one place for them, behind one password only you know. Encryption happens on your device. There is no server, no account, and no way for anyone - us included - to open your vault. That is the shape of the app, not a promise about our intentions. WHAT GOES IN • Photos and files - from the photo library, from Files and Finder, or dragged straight onto the Mac window • Passwords - name, user, password, site, note; the site's icon fetched on your tap • API keys - a separate kind of entry: service, environment, value, expiry date • Folders - a folder exists because items name it, and goes when the last leaves An original is deleted only after the encrypted copy is written and read back. If anything fails in between, nothing has been touched. WHAT IT DOES WITH THEM Swipe through pictures full screen, zoom, or run a slideshow over a folder. Thumbnails stay blurred until you say you are looking - the app assumes somebody is behind you. Select several to move or delete at once, search across everything, export a copy whenever you want. HOW IT LOCKS Face ID or Touch ID opens it. It locks the moment it leaves the screen, and the app switcher sees a curtain, not your vault. Wrong guesses cost time: three pause the vault for an hour, five for a day. Password and recovery key count separately, so a password you half remember never shuts the other door. The password is stored nowhere and cannot be recovered - forget it and what is inside is gone, which is the point. The recovery key answers that: 32 characters, issued once, kept by you somewhere else. ICLOUD, WITHOUT THE USUAL BARGAIN Your vault syncs between your devices through your own iCloud Drive. What travels is ciphertext with random file names - Apple stores it, and it means nothing to anyone without your password. One person, several devices. No sharing, no team, no link to send - which is why the encryption can be this simple and this strict. ON THE IPAD AND THE MAC On an iPad the entries run down one side and the pictures fill the other. On a Mac it is a window that takes a drag and drop, with a menu bar panel that takes a quick entry and shows nothing from the vault. FREE AND PRO The free vault holds 25 items with every feature on - encryption, biometrics, iCloud, recovery key, folders, viewer, menu bar. Nothing is behind the wall except how much fits. Click Lock Pro lifts the limit, on iPhone, iPad and Mac together. Pay once and it is yours for good, or pay by the year - both unlock the same vault, and there is no tier above unlimited. The limit never touches what is already inside. If a purchase fails, lapses or is refunded, every item still opens, exports and moves - a vault that takes your things away when a payment does not go through is not a vault. PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION No account, no sign-up, no email. No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no server. The only request it ever makes is to a website you name, when you tap to fetch its icon. REQUIREMENTS iPhone or iPad with iOS 17 or later, Mac with macOS 14 or later. Without iCloud Drive it works the same, on one device. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS Click Lock Pro is available as a yearly subscription or as a one-time purchase that never renews. The price of each is shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The yearly subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings after purchase. The one-time purchase does not renew.
