About
A board game of colour, not words. TileFeud plays like the classic tile-laying word game, with one change: there are no letters, so you need no dictionary. Every tile has four coloured sides and a glowing gem in the middle. A tile can only go where its colours match every tile it touches. It sounds simple, but it plays like a puzzle. PLAY A FRIEND, AT YOUR OWN PACE Invite a friend by username and take turns whenever suits you. You don't both need to be online at the same time. The game lets you know when it's your move, so a match can last one evening or a week. EASY TO START, HARD TO MASTER • Drag tiles from your rack of seven onto the board. Each turn, all your tiles go in one row or one column. • Tiles turn themselves to fit where they can go. • Gems of the same colour that touch score together. • Wedge a tile between tiles from earlier turns and your score multiplies. • Run one colour through three or more tiles to multiply it again. A BIG BOARD WORTH EXPLORING The board is 21 by 21 squares, with 160 tiles in the bag. Double and triple squares are scattered across it, and bonus squares add flat points. The quadruple squares sit out on the very edge of the board: a long way to reach, and worth the trip. ELEVEN SPECIAL SHAPES Link gems into the right pattern and you complete a named shape for bonus points: The Red Dragon, The Silver Snake, The Magic Stairs, The Ghost, The Castle and more. Once a shape has paid out, it's spent. No one can score it a second time by building on it. CARDS THAT CHANGE THE GAME You're dealt five cards at the start, drawn from a deck of fourteen. Steal a tile from your opponent. Lock a tile in place. Hide your next move with Phantom Placement. Bring down the Blast of the Fire Dragon. Playing a card never costs you your turn, and a card you decide not to use stays in your hand. LEADERBOARDS Every finished game counts. See how your scores compare with your own best, with other players this week and month, and with the best ever. LEARN AS YOU GO A short illustrated guide shows every rule, and you can open it from the board at any time. The highest score wins when the bag runs dry. Plan your line, save your card for the right moment, and reach the edge first. TileFeud needs an internet connection and a free account to play.Read more
